Produced for the main stage, this piece was shown as part of a mixed bill of contemporary ballet choreographers.

Developing the concept in rehersals the concept of the costumes came from elements of dystopian rebirth. The destructive nature of our world and the connections that we all need within it.

I worked closely with the costume team at the Royal Ballet and Opera and created technically challenging costumes made from waxed cotton, stretch velvet and organza. We worked into the fabrics with spray dying to deepen the texture and reflect the breaking down elements of the piece.
